10 October 1890 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Friday. 10th October [1890]. Wrote letters in the studio & Mama sat with me. Miss Clarke came to say her mother was not well & I gave her some remedies. The sudden change of weather affected us all more or less. Mr Spence came to lunch. Mama & I went out in gondola—left cards & then joined Henry at the Eden’s garden. Picked flowers & returned home early. Mr Spence dined with us & took leave as he returns to Florence tomorrow. | |
