19 October 1890 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Sunday. 19th October [1890]. Went to church with the girls in morng & led the singing. Henry & Mama did not go. Home abt 12. Practised guitar till lunch. Mr Brown called after lunch. Henry took Mama out in gondola. I went to church at 3.30 with girls. Tea in hall. Read aloud to Henry. Mme Noce came abt 6 & brought Nela home who had gone to tea with her after church. I went to bed directly after dinner having toothache. | |
