30 November 1890 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Sunday. 30th November [1890]. Advent. Went to church with Sophie in morng & again after lunch & took a row with her. Visit from Pss of Montenegro & her Olga & also Count Canevaro at tea time. Read aloud to Henry before dinner. Mr Dyer & Mr Malcolm dined. Yesterday I had a letter from Count Seckendorff to say that 2 large photos sent of the Empress—one was for Mrs Eden & one for myself. | |
