Sunday. 25th January [1891]. Nela & I went to church which was perfectly well warmed. Mrs Eden came to see us after luncheon. Nela walked with my maid Rosa. I remained at home & Henry also as it was cold & dull. Css Giustina Valmarana came to tea & Mr Montalba & Henrietta & Ellen. Read aloud to Henry from Mme d’Oberkirch’s memoirs before dinner. | |
