Tuesday. 27th January [1891]. Breakfast as usual at 9. Nela sat to me & I began her portrait. After lunch Henry & I were going out when there suddenly came up a thick cold fog & we decided to remain at home. Mme Hurtado came to see me & Mlle Kwekwitsch, the Princess of Montenegro’s sister—also Idita Bentivoglio & Ct Henri Lucchese Palli. | |
