6 March 1891 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Friday. 6th March [1891]. Being tired & enclined to have a headache remained in bed till lunch time. Henry went out with Nela. I remained in my room till dinner time. Henry & I went to dine with the Edens– Met there Mrs Bronson & Edith, Mr Moore & Mr Woods. The girls came in the evening & we gave our first mandoline concert. The Stefani’s & Della Grazias, Trombini coming in the evening. Mrs Eden had invited the Montenegros, Montalbas, Wiels. We got thro’ it very well & were home about 12. | |
