19 March 1891 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Thursday. 19th [March 1891]. Henry got up after breakfast—cold still bad. I painted Nela. After lunch Mr Eden called in his launch to offer to take any of us out. Nela & I went. It was pretty windy– We went in to see Mrs Eden on our return. It is her reception day & we found lots of ladies calling. Came home to tea—read aloud. | |
