18 April 1891 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Saturday. 18th [April 1891]. Made a sketch out of the window of the tower of the Frari. After lunch Henry went out in the sandolo to the Lido with Nela & took Ida Bel: with them. Ola & I sorted my cloths & showed my maid how to pack them which employed us till tea time. Idita Bentivoglio came to tea & later Css Valmarana, the Duchess di Noci & Amelie, & Pss Gigina & Carola Hohenlohe, Mme Brazzà & Mr Ulrich. I read aloud to Henry before dinner. The Belmondos dined with us. Ola & I played mandola & guitar duetts. | |
