29 April 1891 — Amiens | |
Wednesday. 29th April [1891]. Got up early breakfasted at 8 & walked off to see the Cathedral– Left by 10.20 train for Calais & arrived after a perfectly calm passage in London at 6. There we parted with Nela to her own family & the carriage met us & we drove home to 1 Queen Anne St had tea & rested. Went at 8 to dine at 25 Park Crescent—& came home early. | |
