24 May 1891 — 1 Queen Anne Street | |
Sunday. 24th May [1891]. A pouring wet day & I could not even get to church. I spent 2 hours sorting Stella Dyer’s letters to Henry. Wrote my journal &c. Richard & Maria & Daisy came to tea. Edward Ponsonby called & also Mr Herbert Thompson, Sir Henry’s son. Henry went to see Blanche. We dined alone. Looked over some more of Mrs Austen’s illustrated books & went early to bed. | |
