1 June 1891 — 1 Queen Anne Street | |
Monday. 1st June [1891]. Wrote. Practised guitar. Visit from Mama. Lunched at 1 & went out at 2.15. Fetched Mama to drive with me & went down to the Albert Hall to meet Lady Alwyne Compton—& help her to judge lace for the Home Art Classes. It was 20 past 5 when we had finished. Mama waited in the carriage all the while. Had tea & laid on sofa in my bedroom to rest. Henry sat there & read. Ruth & Nela came in to see us. Dined alone & looked over books. | |
