24 June 1891 — 1 Queen Anne Street | |
Wednesday. 24th June [1891]. I drove out with Henry & dropped him at the House of Commons where he attended the Committee for the proposed new monumental Chapel at Westminster Abbey & then I came home. Connie came to tea with Lady Elizabeth Biddulph. Went to the R.A. evening party & on to the French Embassy to meet the D. of Cambridge & hear some french acting wh I thought dull– Monty Alderson came up fm Oxford to stay with us. | |
