16 August 1891 — Foxbase, nr. Lyndhurst Road, Hampshire | |
Sunday. 16th August [1891]. I walked to church at Lyndhurst with the girls in morning. Painted flowers after lunch while Maria read to us. We took our tea out to the forest & had it there & then took a walk. The new Forrest is close behind the garden. Went with Arthur down to the pond in the field to try his trout rod—& spent an hour practising casting. Dinner at 8. Music. | |
