30 August 1891 — Baveno | |
Sunday. 30th August [1891]. Woke with a headache & after breakfast had to go back to bed & there remain all day. Towards 5 oclock a great storm came on & I got better & was able to go down to dinner but went to bed again at 9. I was sorry not to be able to attend service at the church in the garden of the Villa Clara– It is such a beautiful little church. | |
