4 September 1891 — Baveno | |
Friday. 4th September [1891]. Spent the whole morning writing arrears of correspondence. Lunch at 1. Made our tea at 5 & then we went for a walk up the hill along the new Road towards the Mottarone. We got a good way up & had a fine view of the lake. Returned for dinner. Found letters for Count Seckendorff awaiting him at our hotel & that he is expected here tomorrow. | |
