1 November 1891 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Sunday. 1st November [1891]. Ola & I went to morning & afternoon church. After afternoon service I joined Henry at the Piazza & walked while the band was playing. Wrote letters after tea. Henry & I dined with the Edens & met Mr Woods & Mr Malcolm– I played Halma with Mr Eden– When we came out of the house to return home we found that the wind had sprung up & Henry fell in getting into the gondola but did not hurt himself. | |
