6 December 1891 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Sunday. 6th December [1891]. Ola was in bed with headache. Maria stayed with her & Ruth & I went to morning service. After lunch Henry, Maria & I walked to the Piazza & meeting Aimée & Ida walked with them while the band was playing. The day was splendid & there were crowds there. Henry came home in gondola, Maria & I walked home with the Cariati’s. Had a visit from B. & Bss von Hohn & Princess Carolat Hohenlohe. I read aloud to Henry. Played harmonium in evening. | |
