7 February 1892 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Sunday. 7th February [1892]. I went to church with Ola in the morning. After lunch I went in gondola with Henry to the Lido. The Belmondos also went in their gondola. I read Saint Simon aloud to Henry there & back. We landed at the Favorita & walked by the shore to S. Elizabetta & then took our gondolas home. I left Henry at home & then went to the Princess of Montenegro whose day it is. There was a crowd there & it was very hot. Came home read to Henry. | |
