26 February 1892 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Friday. 26th February [1892]. Still dark and wet & we did not go out. Ola only went as far as the Belmondos– I practised guitar & read. Mr Hodgson, Mr Woods & the Belmondos dined with us & we had Trios in evening– They played Rubinstein’s 1st Trio that we know so well & used to have in old days at Madrid– Also one of Schumans & an Andante of Roffs. | |
