28 February 1892 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Sunday. 28th February [1892]. I went to church morning & afternoon & after 2nd service went to see Mr Eden. Came home to tea & Ida Bel came– Her husband came to join her. There was a 2nd ball at the Palace today. I wrote to say we did not go out on Sunday. We dined alone & I read Saint Simon aloud to Henry while he played patience & then played the harmonium a little while till bed time. | |
