3 June 1892 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Friday. 3rd June [1892]. Worked in morng at packing & arranging things for our departure. After lunch I went out in sandolo to pay visits. To Css Canevaro & Maria Cozzi & stayed sometime with them. I went on to our church to get some books out of the vestry for Henry who went to the station at 5.30 to meet the Bishop of Gibraltar & Mrs Sandford. They are staying at Mr Malcolm’s. From the church I went to call on Mme Hurtado & Idita in their new apartment Palazzo Reck. It is very nice & airy only up 70 steps. I went there to see Olga Montenegro & her grandmother & aunt—& then came home. | |
