16 June 1892 — 1 Queen Anne Street
Thursday. 16th June [1892]. Wrote in morn. Miss Constance Ffoulkes lunched with us. After lunch went out driving with Henry. To 25 Pk Crest & took Nela out driving. We went to the Fine Art Burlington Club in 17 Savile Row to see the small & fine collection of Flemish pictures. Left Henry there & Nela & I went on to leave cards & to find a new French dressmaker Mme Gloire who has been recommended to us. It began to rain & was very cold so we hastened home to tea. Sophie Palmer came to see me & sat some time talking. Ola & Ruth dined with us.
