12 October 1892 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Wednesday. 12th [October 1892]. I was rather enclined to headache & so could not work much. At 3 I went to fetch Lady Kentsford & took her to Rietti’s shop to look for old chairs. Came back to tea. We also went to look for rooms for Honble Ethel Cadogan our Queen’s lady in waiting who wrote to ask me to find some for her, we saw 2 nice rooms at the Casa Barbier which she can have for 5 fcs a day. | |
