18 October 1892 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Tuesday. 18th [October 1892]. Ola & Miss Cadogan went to church. I wrote in morning &c. Practised guitar, did not go out. Mrs Gardner came to take leave as she is going away. Ct Seckendorff came to lunch. Henry went out with Mr Colvin. We had a thunderstorm in afternoon wh changed the weather & made it chilly. Mr Malcolm dined with us. I played Halma with Mr Colvin. Henry played patience. Miss Sharp played the piano. | |
