Friday. 2nd December [1892]. Practised guitar & copied letters– Mr & Mrs Castle came to lunch & before they had left Mr Eden came in his steam launch & asked me to go out with him wh I did & he took me as far as the open sea along the new diga– Mr & Mrs Brockell came to tea—also Mrs & Miss Burdett. Henry & I dined with Mrs Bronton to meet the Curtis’, Genl de Horsey & Mrs Brown. D. Carlos came in the evening & was very polite to us. | |
