3 January 1893 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Tuesday. 3rd January [1893]. I woke with a headache so did not get up till the afternoon– Laid on the sofa in the studio & had tea there. Mr & Mrs & Stella Dyer dined with us & Mr Ho Brown & in the evening Stella & Monty played some sonatas of Grieg & the Kreutzer Sonata– A very pleasant musical evening. The weather a little less cold today & the sun bright. | |
