28 October 1893 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Saturday. 28th [October 1893]. The four girls or “the Harem” as the Pss calls them went off after an early lunch to the Britannia Hotel. The Princess took them & Fraulein v. Rauch in Admiral Noce’s steam launch to Torcello for the afternoon. Henry & I went out in gondola to the Edens garden. It was a splendid day. | |
