18 November 1893 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Saturday. 18th November [1893]. Nela & I went to the studio a little late & found that Mr Woods had been there & that we could not have a model to paint from till Monday. We stayed there some time making little sketches in charcoal & then walked home to lunch. I worked the machine & finished all the dusters that had to be done. Did not go out again. Gave Lina Duff Gordon a guitar lesson till tea time. | |
