13 December 1893 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Wednesday. 13th [December 1893]. Did not have a very good night & could not go to the studio so Nela went alone—& I remained in bed till the afternoon & only got up for tea & went down to the green drawing room. Edith Bronson came & we conceived a Christmas amusement for the girls to get up. We settled to do Nursery Rhymes in dumb crambo—the dresses being paper! Edith said she wd come again in a couple of days & arrange it. | |
