1 January 1894 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Monday. 1st January [1894]. I went off to the studio at S. Trovaso & painted till lunch time. It was a lovely day bright & clear. After lunch I went out with Henry to the Edens garden & we walked up & down the Sacca there. The view was lovely & it was rather frosty. I washed my hair just before luncheon & as there was no one at the garden I let it down to dry as I walked. After dinner Ola & I played guitar & mandola duetts & I played the harmonium. | |
