2 January 1894 — Ca’ Capello, Venice
Tuesday. 2nd [January 1894]. The weather was completely changed, when we got up it was blowing hard & snowing a little. I decided not to go to the studio—the more that I was a little headachey. I spent the day pasting in newspaper cuttings in the book I keep & wh had not been done for a year. Mlle Maria Cozzi came to tea. The wind got higher than ever & colder and more snow threatens. Played duetts with Ola after dinner & then went early to bed.
