Sunday. 4th February [1894]. I went to 11 o’cl service at English Church. We went for a walk on the sea wall after tea– Read aloud to Henry. Visit from Dr Chiaradia who is from the Veneto & says he knew us in London when he came to the medical Congress there some years ago. Margherita & her uncle Don Juanito d’Adda called to see if it was all settled for going to Pompei tomorrow. | |
