3 March 1894 — Florence | |
Saturday. 3rd [March 1894]. I had a guitar lesson at 11 o’cl from Signor Munier. Lina came in from Poggio & superintended & before lunch we went out to do a little shopping. Back to lunch & again went shopping. Returned at 5 & Henry took Lina to Gracosas to have tea. Mme Adele Michiel came to see me—& also Mr Robert Murray (Annie Cole’s late master). He has a villa here for the winter. We dined at 7.30 & Mrs B. Leigh came to our table & afterwards we went to her room to have coffee. She has lovely flowers & has arranged her room very prettily. | |
