27 March 1894 — Ca’ Capello, Venice
Tuesday. 27th March [1894]. Went to the studio & worked myself into a despair– Walked to the Edens on my way home & paid them a visit & so got home just in time for lunch. Did not go out again. Nety went to Murano with Henry. Mr & Mrs Logsdail came to see me at 4.20. I showed them the pictures & gave them tea. Wrote letters & arranged the music for our band. Dined 7.30 & Henry took the 3 young people to the Rossini theatre to hear the Barbiere de Siviglia. Nety & I sat at home working & chatting & had a very pleasant evening.
