28 March 1894 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Wednesday. 28th March [1894]. To the studio & was joined by Mr Fisher who very kindly remained with me over an hour teaching & explaining to me– Got home just in time for lunch. After lunch we all went to the Armenian Convent—a most lovely day. Home abt 5.30. Mme Buthhold & her girl Charlotte came to tea & Maria Cozzi. Had the band practise in the evening. Henry took Nety out in the gondola in the evening—& George Montagu went to the theatre. | |
