12 April 1894 — 1 Queen Anne Street
Thursday. 12th April [1894]. I had a bad night—woke with indigestion & felt so bad I had to go to Nurse Watson’s room where I nearly fainted. Got up late this morning & consulted Mr Herring when he came—he gave me a liver pill to take tonight. Sir H. Thompson did not come today to see Henry. Mr Rate came to see me & to ask after Henry. Mr Rassam came in the afternoon– Later my brother Arthur came– Lord & Lady Lindsey came also & brought me a box of flowers from Theo from Inwood where they had been staying. I walked with Arthur down Bond St abt 6 & went in to see Mamma on the way home– Maria was there & I walked part of the way to her home with her & then went home to Henry. Julie Du Cane came & dined with me & we put up the Inwood flowers in the evening.
