14 July 1894 — Chenies | |
Saturday. 14th July [1894]. I got up as usual abt 12—after reading quantities more kind letters of sympathy– I drove with Nurse in the afternoon for an hour returning to tea. After which I walked in the garden with Addie. Lady Gregory & her boy Robert came down abt 7 to stay till Monday. Her husband was Henry’s greatest friend & “best man” at our wedding—& Robert is Henry’s godson & he left him £100 in his will. | |
