5 September 1894 — Devonshire House, Weymouth | |
Wednesday. 5th September [1894]. I breakfasted at 8 & had my hair washed afterwards. It was a fine bright cold morng & I was glad to have a fire in the drawing room. I wrote many letters before & after lunch & then walked to the station to meet Nela who came to stay with me & arrived at 9.15. We walked home from the station—had tea & then went out again for a walk as far as the gardens & back. After dinner played patience. | |
