11 October 1894 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Thursday. 11th October [1894]. Wrote to the Empress Frederick & read the MSS till lunch. Went out in gondola with Ola to Piazzetta landed & walked to the Public gardens & there found the gondola & came home to tea. Wrote some more letters. Dinner at 8. Ola read aloud while I played patience. | |
