25 October 1894 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Thursday. 25th October [1894]. Ola got up for breakfast but not feeling well had to retire to her room again. I wrote letters & read MS. It was a dull rainy heavy scirocco day & I did not go out but sat with Ola & worked while she read. After 5 T. Ersilia Canevaro came & sat some time with me. I dined alone & then played patience. Cini came to see Bertha who has a quinsy. | |
