13 November 1894 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Tuesday. 13th November [1894]. Blanche, Edward, Olwen & Ola went off to Padua by 8.50 train to see the Santo &c. I breakfasted in bed & got up late & wrote in the library. I lunched at 1.30. The others returned for lunch soon after two oclock & when rested & refreshed were ready to set out again. Blanche with Ola—& Edward with me. It was rather a raw foggy day & Edward had a cold so I gave him hot lemonade at night. | |
