Wednesday. 14th [November 1894]. A thick fog. Edward & I went at 3 to the church to attend the meeting on the finishing of the interior. Blanche did not go out & we were glad to get home– It was decided to make an appeal to the public in the English & American newspapers & to try & raise £2000 as a kind of memento to Henry. | |
