22 November 1894 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Thursday. 22nd November [1894]. Blanche & Edward went out with Ola in the morning. I remained at home & painted a work pattern for Blanche. It was a foggy day. After lunch they went out to Countess Pisani’s. Mr Carey came to talk about a magic lantern for the Sailor’s Institute. Iduna Belmondo came also to tea & I talked much to her of these last sad months in England. Css Pisani came also for a short time. Trombini came in the evening to accompany Blanche & Olwen for a duett practise. | |
