27 November 1894 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Tuesday. 27th November [1894]. A very fine day. Wrote in library. Olga Montenegro came at 11 to see me & sat some time. Later Trombini came. After lunch old Miss More called & then Ola & I took a turn on the Zattere. Home to tea & Css Pisani came & we had a nice talk. Wrote letters before dinner. In the evening Ola read aloud to me & began “The Squatters Dream”– | |
