20 December 1894 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Thursday. 20th December [1894]. Elaine breakfasted in bed. Ola up & all right. The hair dresser came to cut & wash my hair. It was a most lovely day. After lunch Ola & Elaine walked to the Piazza. I went in gondola & met them & took Elaine on to the Eden’s garden where we gathered a good handfull of roses & we came home to tea. Iduna Bel. came to see me & also Clara & Hilda Montalba. | |
