25 January 1895 — Aswan | |
Friday. 25th [January 1895]. I went on board the Sethi with my oil paints & painted from there. Worked all day only coming back to lunch. The rest of the party went out on camels in the afternoon. The dining room was not so hot but the food was very indifferent. After dinner we all went over to the Sethi and sat for an hour. It is quiet & cool. Baron de Romberg accompanied us. | |
