7 April 1895 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Sunday. 7th [April 1895]. Ola & I went to morning church. Elaine not up having a headache. After lunch sat by fire in drawing room with Elaine & read aloud to her an article on Egypt in the Quarterly. At 5.30 Iduna Belmondo called & she & I went off to see Css Pisani. Finished reading the Quar: Article to Elaine in evening after dinner. | |
