15 April 1895 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Monday. 15th April [1895]. Painted & wrote in morning. The wind still high but the weather improved as the day went on. A visit from Ct Lanckoronski an Austrian gentleman who is a lover of art & knew Henry. After lunch took a walk to the Piazza with Elaine & came home in gondola. Baron Krauss came to call. His wife has been very ill. | |
