Thursday. 16th May [1895]. Elaine came to lunch with me & I drove her out afterwards. We went to call on the Lambtons & found them at their door just going out but they turned back. Nothing has yet been heard of Mr Mossop & so I recommended Lady Victoria to consult some man of her family which she settled to do. After taking Elaine about to shop I dropped her at her sister Francie Thesiger’s house where she is to stay till Monday. Cornelia has gone to Wales with young Ivor—& Felicie returned to me Ola & she having arrived today from the Empress Fredericks. | |
