13 August 1895 — Bere Cottage, Bere Regis, Dorset | |
Tuesday. 13th August [1895]. Spent the morning in the studio with Nelly decorating a large flower pot. Painted it to represent blue & white china. Nelly, Lionel & I all worked at it till lunch & again till 4. Then Nelly drove Lionel & me to Chamberlain bridge to fish. The weather was stormy & showery & we said nothing. Had tea in the field out of my tea basket. Patience & besique in the evening. | |
